Buying unfinished furniture from us and don’t want to finish it yourself? Let Suburban Home Outfitters finish it for you. Unfinished Furniture can be painted, stained, and even distressed in the color of your liking and all choices are furniture grade finishing products that are sprayed and hand rubbed by a local professional finisher. Select from the most popular finishes or ask us to match a custom color just for you. Each item, depending on size and detail, has an associated finishing cost.

Select, by John Thomas
One of our most popular finishing programs is Select, by John Thomas. With Select, you can choose any of the John Thomas unfinished furniture and have it finished in one of many choices of stain, paint, or even aged and heavy distressed finishes. Only the best finishing products are used and the process is completed right at the factory in North Carolina.

ZAR Ready-Mixed Colors
At Suburban Home Outfitters we also carry Zar brand Stain and Polyurethanes from UGL if you want to tackle the job yourself. These Zar stains can also be used by our local finisher if you want us to finish the product for you. Come in and check out our on-hand supply of stain and Polyurethanes.
